The TRAS-2 2015: “ THE 2nd THAILAND RAIL ACADEMIC SYMPOSIUM ”  August 26-28, 2015, in Phitsanuloke, Thailand. This symposium focuses on timely issues of high interest for all rail modes: urban, commuter, high-speed, and intercity rail. The theme of symposium namely “Science, Technology, and Innovation for Rail Development” aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers, industrial, policy organization and railway operator to exchange and share their experiences and research results about all aspects of rail/railroad. It also provides the premier interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary forum for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns, practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted in the field of rail/railroad.
