The review will\u00a0use of blind peer review and, when possible, multiple reviewers.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Reviews must be conducted by expert referees who have been requested to provide unbiased and constructive comments aimed at improving the work.<\/li>\n<li>The editors of the proceedings are committed to ensuring the quality of the publication and to ensuring that the reported information is ethical, accurate and relevant to the journal.<\/li>\n<li>Authors are expected to pursue objectiveness and rigor in all aspects of their work, obligated to provide retractions or corrections of mistakes, and the list of authors should accurately reflect those involved in the work.<\/li>\n<li>Editors, reviewers and authors are encouraged to refer to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"\/\/publicationethics.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Committee on Publishing Ethics<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(COPE) and to follow its\u00a0<strong><a href=\"\/\/publicationethics.org\/core-practices\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Core practices<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"\/\/publicationethics.org\/resources\/guidelines\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">guidelines<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The editorial process consists of two stages: <strong>Preliminary Review<\/strong> and <strong>Peer Review<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>1. Preliminary Review<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>NU-STARC 2025 Editors assess submissions to ensure they align with the conference scope. This review checks fundamental aspects such as topic relevance, structure, language, originality, references, and potential plagiarism. Submissions failing plagiarism checks or deemed out of scope will be rejected immediately.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>2. Peer Review<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Papers passing the Preliminary Review undergo <strong>double-blind peer review<\/strong> by 2-3 independent reviewers, evaluated based on the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"826\" data-end=\"1098\">\n<li data-start=\"826\" data-end=\"918\"><strong data-start=\"828\" data-end=\"849\">Technical Quality<\/strong>: Scientific rigor, accuracy, clarity, and appropriate referencing<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"919\" data-end=\"1006\"><strong data-start=\"921\" data-end=\"948\">Originality &amp; Relevance<\/strong>: Novelty, significance, and motivation of the research<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1007\" data-end=\"1098\"><strong data-start=\"1009\" data-end=\"1025\">Presentation<\/strong>: Adequacy of title, abstract, figures, tables, and conclusion clarity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1100\" data-end=\"1116\"><strong data-start=\"1100\" data-end=\"1114\">Decisions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1117\" data-end=\"1341\">\n<li data-start=\"1117\" data-end=\"1164\"><strong data-start=\"1119\" data-end=\"1129\">Accept<\/strong> \u2013 No further revisions required<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1165\" data-end=\"1218\"><strong data-start=\"1167\" data-end=\"1192\">Accept with Revisions<\/strong> \u2013 Minor changes needed<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1219\" data-end=\"1291\"><strong data-start=\"1221\" data-end=\"1242\">Needs Improvement<\/strong> \u2013 Major revisions required for further review<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1292\" data-end=\"1341\"><strong data-start=\"1294\" data-end=\"1304\">Reject<\/strong> \u2013 Due to significant deficiencies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1343\" data-end=\"1545\">Authors must address reviewers&#8217; comments in detail. A single round of major revisions is typically allowed. In cases of strong disagreement, the Editor or Program Board may provide further assessment.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Plagiarism Policy<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1576\" data-end=\"1746\">NU-STARC 2025 maintains a strict <strong data-start=\"1609\" data-end=\"1634\">zero-tolerance policy<\/strong> on plagiarism. Papers must be original with proper citations.
