Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarintip Tantanee, President of Naresuan University (NU), met with Prof. Dr. Kazumasa Hanaoka, a visiting professor from Ritsumeikan University (RU), Japan who visited NU under an Integrated Project Development program of NU Faculty of Engineering. Brought by Asst. Prof. Dr. Kumpon Subsomboon, Dean of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Hanaoka is expected to give a lecture on ’Spatial Analysis with Data for Disaster Management' for master’s degree students and another one on ’Spatial Analysis of Disaster, Crimes, Health and Population’ to staff of Regional Center of Geo-Informatics and Space Technology, Lower Northern Region, Naresuan University (GISTNU). Apart from delivering lectures, the guest will engage in a seminar for master’s degree student, discussions on curriculum development related to disaster management studies, and historical site visits in Sukhothai province to promote integrated research collaboration between NU and RU. The meeting took place on Wednesday, 11 March 2026 at 13.30 at Supan Kanlaya Room, Office of the President.
